VITAMIN C (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid)
3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is a more stable derivative of ascorbic acid that is capable of fading hyperpigmentation. Benefits include skin brightening, wrinkle reduction, visible firming and restoring a more even skin tone by offsetting the impact of environmental stressors. 3-0 ethyl ascorbic acid is converted by the skin. Lesser amounts are required due to its stability, and it is also considered non-irritating even at higher percentages.

KAKADU PLUM
Kakadu plum has the highest bio available pure plant source of vitamin C and is easily and readily utilised by the skin. When topically applied, it may assist with providing antioxidant protection and works to enhance skin radiance and resilience as a brightening agent.

KNOTGRASS EXTRACT
Knotgrass extract, which is rich in flavonoids, reduces the appearance of wrinkles and assists UV protection by targeting infrared ageing.

FERULIC ACID
Naturally occurring plant sourced ferulic acid found in Fingerlime Extract and Desert Lime Extract fights the visible signs of ageing. They also contain naturally occurring AHA’s to gently exfoliate and resurface the skin.

VITAMIN E (tocopherol)
Vitamin E works synergistically with vitamin C boosting antioxidant protection. As an oil soluble vitamin, it deeply nourishes the skin by enhancing Natural Moisturising Factors.

3-o-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is a stabilised derivative of ascorbic acid. It also includes additional antioxidants and naturally occurring Vitamin C from Kakadu Plum, increasing overall potency. The total percentage of Vitamin C weight on volume (l-ascorbic and C derivatives) is over 5%.
3-O ethyl ascorbic acid has all the known benefits vitamin C offers such as brightening, wrinkle reduction, visible firming, fading pigmentation and restoring even skin tone and offsetting the many effects of environmental free radicals. Due to its stability, lesser amounts of 3-O ethyl ascorbic acid is needed compared with traditional vitamin C. It’s also a great alternative for skin that is sensitive to pure vitamin C.

Studies show that the amount of ascorbic acid required for skin repair is approximately 10% daily. Applying a topical serum that contains 5% ascorbic acid twice a day is the most efficient way to feed the skin this essential nutrient.
The inclusion of an internal supplement such as our Bioactive Collagen Booster will further enhance collagen production as well as providing your RDA of Vitamin C with skin supporting nutraceuticals.
As with internal supplements, your skin will utilise the amount it needs at any given time and secondly, applying too much vitamin C can irritate the skin as it is an acid after all.

Vital C may be used with all other serums.
It can be used morning and evening and can be layered in any order. When layering, start with lighter products first.
