Aloe Vera is an excellent hydrator and humectant that supports skin regeneration. The plant gel reduces the appearance of irritation and soothes and calms the skin by reducing inflammatory pathways that contribute to redness and irritation. It contains an abundance of vitamins, mineral and amino acids.
Soothes sensitive skin and alleviates redness by blocking signals in the body known as prostaglandins, which are responsible for inflammation. It contains an abundance of flavonoids and phytochemicals. These nutrients are known to fight against harmful free radicals and speed up cell regeneration.
Marigold (Calendula) flowers are rich in carotenoids (antioxidants) and betacarotene that work to improve skin elasticity and hydration. An ideal skin softener for sensitive skin, it's deeply moisturising properties sooth and calm inflamed skin.
Use 2 pumps and emulsify a small amount between the palms. Apply to wet hair. Massage into the scalp and lather through to the ends. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary. Follow with conditioner.
