From sourcing and formulating to manufacturing and distribution, our longstanding commitment to sustainability in unison with skin health and wellbeing, is deeply embedded in our DNA and evident in every facet of our brand.
Violet Glass Packaging
Glass is practically inert and impermeable, which makes it the safest of all packaging materials out there. As a result, there are no risks attached to harmful chemicals entering products that are packed in glass. This also means that there are no extra barriers or additives needed. The violet glass packaging our facial care products are housed in incorporates biophotonic technology. It protects the concentrated and active formulations by filtering out harmful rays of light. Only the violet light wavelength can penetrate the glass. This further enhances product viability maintaining and preserving the formulations over an extended period.
Glass is the most sustainable packaging option made from natural materials (sand, soda ash and limestone) that can be endlessly reused and upcycled.

To reduce our carbon footprint, we no longer accept the return of used bottles and jars.
Alternatively, your bottles and jars can be deposited into your kerbside recycle bin. Simply follow these instructions to do so:
- Remove fixtures and fittings
- Soak in hot soapy water and rinse to remove residue
- Place in kerbside recycle bin
As glass is made from natural materials, it can continue to be endlessly upcycled. By recycling your glass bottles and jars, you are helping to conserve natural resources and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills.
We also do not currently accept refills. The risk of contamination to the formulas is simply too high, and there is not currently a sustainable or financially feasible option to sterilise and refill packaging across multiple products.
Reduce Thoughtless Consumption
As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, have phased out single use plastic sample pots. This means that our sample offering has evolved so that we are not encouraging thoughtless consumption of little packets and jars that often end up as pollution or landfill. We have transitioned to a limited selection of deluxe samples that are housed in reusable glass, rather than plastic, and all spatulas for our jarred products will be made from biodegradable materials.
As our company continues to grow, we will conduct ongoing research into packaging options to ensure that we use resources responsibly and prioritise the use of recycled or reused materials. We understand the importance of reducing our environmental impact and are dedicated to finding innovative ways to do so while still providing our customers with the highest quality products.
Energy & Emissions
We understand that our footprint goes much further than packaging and logistics, and the following outlines what we've implemented at our HQ to conserve energy:
- Our business is powered by solar where any excess is utilised and recirculated back to the electricity grid.
- We use a reverse osmosis and UV filtration system.
- We use energy efficient light bulbs, solar lighting and natural insulation throughout the office and treatment rooms.
- Our offices have been designed to rely on natural ventilation minimising the use of air-conditioning.
- We offset our carbon emissions through local planting initiatives and programs.
